I don't watch the NFL draft, but I would note that awards shows dropping the hosts has proven to be a short-term solution. If the show isn't working, you need to fix the show.
My feeling has always been that awards shows should cater to the audience that wants to watch them, rather than the audience they don't have. Be true to your school, so to speak.
It's interesting how much more solid a base the NFL has than the film and TV industries. Enviable position.
Yeah ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network all have different ones. I've never really understood that, but I guess there's enough segmentation to make the cost worth it.
