What’s the opposite of “frenzy”?

That’s where we seem to be, a few weeks past where the Winter Meetings would normally be and just ahead of the normal holiday/New Year doldrums. I didn’t go back and check to see when free agents sign, but this seems slow. Jeff Passan’s column at ESPN today said teams have spent, in total, under $200 million so far.
