The Velo/Injury Coefficient

Fact 1: Pitchers at every level are throwing harder. In pure terms of velocity, at the MLB level, we’ve seen the average fastball go from 90 to 93 in just a matter of a few years.

Fact 2: Injuries have increased, especially pitching arm injuries, but generally fall within a range. They have not increased significantly with the recent velocity increase.
